At Best Engines & Outboard Motors, customer satisfaction is important to us. Please read our refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

 

Refunds are assessed based on the type and condition of the product purchased:

New Outboard Motors

  • New outboard motors may be returned within the legally required return period, provided they are unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging.

  • Products must be returned in resaleable condition and are subject to inspection.

Used Outboard Motors

  • Used outboard motors are non-refundable unless the product is faulty, damaged, or significantly not as described at the time of sale.

 

2. Faulty or Damaged Products

 

If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please notify us as soon as possible. Supporting photos or details may be required to assist with assessment.

 

3. Non-Refundable Items

 

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or lack of maintenance

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Change of mind on used products

  • Products returned without prior approval

 

4. Refund Processing Time

 

Once a return has been approved and the product has been received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

 

5. Return Shipping

 

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

 

6. Warranty vs Refunds

 

Where applicable, manufacturer or limited warranties may apply instead of a refund.
